Taste just the same as the aniseed balls I loved as a child in the 1960s. These aniseed balls differ from the old ones in that the consistency is more like an old time boiled sweet than the little hard balls we used to get as kids (10 for a penny) but that doesn't detract from the flavour, these are delicious and very addictive. I've just finished the two bottles I ordered which I had to selfishly hide from visitors. I'll definitely be ordering more.
